AI Companion Renewal Calendar: Dates, Reminders and Annual Cost
Build a simple renewal routine that catches introductory prices, annual commitments and last-minute cancellation risk.
Record three dates
Write the purchase date, next charge date and your personal review date. Set the review several days earlier so you have time to inspect the account and contact support. If a trial is involved, record when the normal charge begins, not only when access starts.
Use the correct time zone
A renewal may be processed according to the merchant or app-store time zone. Avoid planning to cancel in the final hour. A buffer protects you from time-zone confusion, outages and support delays.
Attach the normal amount
Put the expected renewal amount and currency beside the date. If the first period is discounted, the calendar should display the later amount prominently. Add expected extra purchases separately because they may not share the renewal date.
Choose a review question set
Before each renewal ask whether you used the service, stayed under your cap, understood every extra purchase, and still want the same commitment. Review cancellation and content-deletion controls separately. A renewal reminder should trigger a decision, not just notify you that money is leaving.
Save completion evidence
If you cancel, keep the confirmation page or email until the next expected charge date passes. Return to billing settings and confirm renewal is off. If a retention offer appears, read whether accepting it starts a new term.
Annual plans need monthly reviews too
Paying once a year does not mean ignoring the account for eleven months. A short monthly check catches unexpected refill spending and shows whether the next annual renewal remains worthwhile. Your annual total should include extras across all twelve months.
A practical worksheet
Create the reminder while the checkout is still open. Put the normal renewal amount in the event title, schedule the first alert seven days earlier and a second one three days earlier, and attach the cancellation instructions or saved page. Add a monthly note for refill spending even when the plan is annual. On the review date, decide continue, reduce use or stop, and record the reason. This turns a passive notification into a repeatable decision and leaves enough time to resolve a missing control.
